Just Because You Don't See

Just Because You Don't See is an art exhibition that communicates to the Tanzanian community what is happening in the Indian Ocean due to climate change and massive destruction of fragile marine ecosystems that we are all dependent on, from protein supply coming from sea food, blue eco-tourism activities, and the very oxygen we breathe. Yet as quick as we get concerned when a tree is cut or burned, we don't have the same concern when corals are bleached, broken, young immature fish taken from their homes. All this is happening just beneath the ocean, and the first people to be affected are the Swahili fishermen who provide us fish and have been doing that for generations.
